Glyndebourne
Notable operatic performances have been given since 1934 on John Christie’s estate in
Sussex. Fritz Busch was director until his death in 1951. The original building was
demolished in August 1992, and a new one opened on 28 May 1994.

Poppea(1927) led to the revival of interest in the composer. Incognitaby Egon
