Plan
Use a combination of simple piecing and
strip piecing to take a short cut to a quilt
full of wonder and beauty. In order to
make the strip piecing work effi ciently,
you’ll use a few partial band segments
in which the seams are unpicked. It’s
an extra step that will save time in the
long run, an oxymoron straight out of
Wonderland.
A vertical design wall will be especially
helpful for organizing band segments
and patches before construction. Use an
accurate ¼ ̋ seam allowance throughout
to ensure all elements of the quilt fi t to-
gether well. Note that the border 2 sides
are narrower than the top and bottom.Designer Information
