Laura Sarff of Longmont, Colorado, used a brown, beige,
cream, and deep violet color palatte to make Ring Around
the Toesies* (Quick Quilts February/March ‘17) for her guest
room. The bed runner pattern seemed complex at fi rst but
was easy to piece and quilt.
Lisa England of Ashland, Kentucky, used a charm pack and
modern fl oral fabrics from her stash to make Spare Parts*
(Quick Quilts February/March ‘18). The pattern was quick
and easy to piece, leaving time and energy to focus on some
beautiful edge-to-edge fl oral quilting.
Aviary* (Quick Quilts October/November ’18) was the perfect
pattern for Sherry Dryer of Chelan, Washington, to pair with
her bright and bold fabric stash. She also utilized the leftover
triangle scraps to make the border. Sherri used a wild backing
print, making the quilt reversible. With 11 grandchildren, now
