FRONT/BACK (MAKE 2)
Note This garment has two pieces and is knitted sideways.
Cast on 120 ( 123 : 126 : 129 ) sts using 3.25mm needles.
Knit 10 rows.

Change to 3.5mm needles.
Row 1 K96 ( 99 : 102 : 105 ), PM, work Row 1 of lace patt, PM, K5.
Row 2 and all WS rows K5, sl SM, work Row 2 of lace patt, sl SM,
K4, P86 ( 89 : 92 : 95 ), K6.
The last 2 rows set the pattern with garter st border at hem and
before and after the lace patt.

Cont in patt as set until work measures approx 43.5 (48.5: 53.5:
58.5)cm, ending with Row 8 or 16 of lace patt.

Change to 3.25mm needles.
Knit 10 rows.
Cast off.

MAKING UP

1 Block gently to measurements, following any yarn care

instructions on the ball band. Sew in yarn ends.

2 Lay the pieces on the floor with the lace sections at the top. On

both pieces mark points 18 ( 19 : 20 : 21 )cm down from the lace

border edge on each side for the armholes.

3 Mark a point either side of neck for opening. (We suggest a 25

( 30 : 35 : 40 )cm opening, but adjust this to suit your preference.)

4 Sew seams together for shoulders.

5 Sew sides seams from marked point down for armholes to approx

8cm from hem edge for side opening.
