Again the farmers ran to help him, and again they found out there was

A few days later, a real wolf came from the forest and began to
steal the sheep. The startled boy ran toward the valley. He was
very scared and surprised, and more loudly than ever he cried,
“! !” (Wolf! Wolf!)

[Ask students whether there was really a wolf.]
But the farmers in the valley, who had been fooled by the boy’s
pranks twice before, thought that the boy was playing the same prank
and was tricking them again. So no one came to help the boy save his
sheep.
