Use the word sprout when you tell about it. I will call on a few of you
to share.
Purpose for Listening
Tell students that the main topic, or main idea, of today’s lesson is the life
cycle of the plant. Tell them to listen carefully to find out more about how
the plant grows and changes during its lifetime.
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
Explain that seeds are the beginning of new plants
Explain the basic life cycle of plants
