Use an Drawing activity for follow-up. Directions: Draw what it looks
like when a seed germinates. Also draw what is needed for a seed
to germinate: sunshine, air, water, nutrients. When you have finished
drawing, compare your picture of germination with the pictures of others.
- You may wish to show students an example of what real germination
looks like using their “See Through” planters. - You may choose to have students work with their partner, in small
groups, or with home language peers.
