    grow taller.

  2. Tell your partner about a time you did an experiment. What were
    you trying to find out? What happened? Or, tell your partner about
    something you are curious about and would like to experiment. [You
    may wish to remind students of experiments the class has done
    together, e.g., “See Through” planter.]

    Use a Making Choices activity for follow-up. Directions: You usually do an
    experiment when you want to find out more about something. I will tell you
    several situations. If what I say is an experiment, say, “That is an experiment.”
    If what I say is not an experiment, say, “That is not an experiment.”
