map or globe and identify it as part of Africa.What Have We Already Learned? 5 minutes
Ask students what they have already learned about the pharaohs
of ancient Egypt and more specifi cally what they learned about
Hatshepsut. You may prompt discussion with the following
questions:- What was the job of a pharaoh? (ruler)
