On the other hand, skinnier tires have lower rolling resistances and can turn much more easily. They
weigh less and don’t take up as much room on the robot.
Tread Designs
The style of the tread on the tire (see Figure 19-5) should be picked to match the surface and weather
conditions the robot is expected to experience.
