- Create the exact motor profile in a drawing program. Or, use the Hsiang Neng
motor label drawings, which are available at http://www.robotroom.com/
SandwichStuff.html. - Print a pair of the drawings onto a sheet of address labels stickers. Use a ruler
on the printout to double-check that the software and printer didn’t resize the
dimensions.
Positioning the Template Stickers on the Container’s Sides
- Cut the labels and closely trim the edge on the side nearest the motor shaft cap
circle (see the side below the largest circle in Figure 24-7).

- Place one label on each side of the container. The motor shaft cap circle should
be far enough toward the rear of the container to allow the breadboard to fit
toward the front. Also be sure that the larger circle is placed directly against the
inner edge of the container lip (again, see Figure 24-7). For Sandwich, the center
of the motor shaft ended up about 4.5 cm from the rear lip of the container.
