Connecting Through Circuit Breakers and GFCI Outlets
Now’s a good time to check your house’s fuse box to see if the previous owner jammed pennies into any of
the fuse holes.
With power tools and electronic experiments, it’s better to run them through an outlet strip with a
built-in power switch and circuit breaker (see Figure 3-7). That way, even if the circuit breaker fails to trip,
you can quickly cut power without having to touch the rampaging device.
