Auto Power Off
It’s common to forget to turn off the multimeter as your mind considers the task at hand. I’m often surprised
to see the on switch still engaged when I’m putting my meter away. Luckily for the battery, my meter has
auto power off. This feature can be annoying if it shuts off after too short of a delay, but most meters won’t
turn off if the measurement value changes enough.
