Note to Teacher
Every fable has a moral—or lesson—to it. Make sure that students
understand the moral of each fable. You may wish to help students make
connections between the moral of the fables and real life.
Students will also be sequencing events from a story for the first
time. Help them learn the terms: beginning, middle, and end as well
as temporal words such as: first, next, last. Scaffold the sequencing
activities as necessary.
