Nursery Rhymes and Fables: Supplemental Guide 3B | Jack Be Nimble & Little Jack Hornere 65
- Nouns can be things like a book and a candlestick. [Call on a few
students to give another example of a thing as a noun.] - Now we will try to build a short sentence using your words. When you
hear a noun in the sentence, hold up your Noun Card.
Note: There may be variations in the sentences created by your class.
Allow for these variations and restate students’ sentences so that they
are grammatical. Repeat each sentence for students. If necessary,
ask students to repeat your sentence.
