- An island is land that is surrounded by water.
- The people from Momotaro’s village travel from island to island on
boats. - Tell your partner if you have even been to an island or what you think
visiting an island would be like. Use the word island when you tell
about it. I will call on a few students to share.

the oni monsters. - Say the word help with me three times.
- To help someone means that you work with that person to solve a
problem or make it easier for that person to do something. - Momotaro helped his mother make millet cakes.
