USING PHOTO

R AW 2021

In plug-in form, Photo

RAW 2021 acts like a

set of individual plug-

ins, but when you open

a file from Lightroom or

Photoshop into it, you

can switch to the other

modules (as in the

other plug-ins) easily.

You can use the File>

Plug-in Extras menu,

or the Edit In menu

to get files over to

Photo RAW.

If you want to use

Plug-in Extras, you

first need to go to the

Preferences of the

standalone version

of Photo RAW and

select your file settings

for Lightroom in the

Plug-ins tab. You can

also choose your file

settings for Photoshop

while you’re here.

L AYOUT

In Lightroom, open your photo into

Photo RAW using ON1 Develop

2021 from the Plug-in Extras menu.

From left to right in the layout (see

image below) we have:

• The Tool Well with access
  to tools such as Crop and
  Retouch


• The Presets pane, which
  can be hidden (bottom-
  left icon)


• The preview window, with
  Zoom options above and
  Preview options below
  (including Soft Proofing
  and Masking)


• The right pane with the Info
  panel at the top and Layers
  directly below


• Below Layers are the mod-
  ules and their settings.
