STEP 25: Go under the Filter menu,
to Blur, and choose Gaussian Blur.
Set the Radius to around 5 Pixels
and click OK. This increases the
amount of existing blur on the
background, resulting in more depth.
Press Command-D (PC: Ctrl-D)
to deselect.

Ultimately you now have a more
dramatic version of the image with
which you started. This technique
is mostly nondestructive, meaning
you can go back and adjust the
blurring, gradients, and even the
scale and position of the various
elements because they’re contained
in smart objects. n
