Tina is an American-born Chinese

designer from Queens, New York,

living in Metro Detroit, Michigan. By

day, Tina designs and manages a

team that works on industrial knitting

machines and she creates hand

knitting pattern designs by night.

She started her career in the fashion

industry as a knitwear specialist,

working with designers to execute

their knit fabric or garment ideas.

Now, she works in the sporting goods

industry, developing technical textiles

for non-apparel applications.

She has had knitting patterns featured

in multiple publications, including

PomPom Quarterly and Nomadic

Knits magazine.

Outside of knitting, Tina is passionate

about sharing her experiences as an

Asian American and advocates for

proper representation of Asian identity.
