1 anchovy fi llet, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Creole mustard
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon kosher salt


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together
    anchovy,lemon juice, garlic, mustard,
    and Worcestershire until smooth. Whisk
    in mayonnaise, cheese, pepper, and salt
    until smooth. Cover and refrigerate
    until ready to use.

MAKES ABOUT 1¼ CUPS

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
5 cinnamon sticks


  1. In a small saucepan, bring sugar and
    1 cup water to a boil. Add cinnamon
    sticks; reduce heat, and simmer for
    5 minutes. Remove from heat, and let
    cool completely. Remove cinnamon
    sticks, and refrigerate in an airtight
    container up to 2 weeks.
