  • R a nged weapon attacks made against you have disad-
    vantage on t he attack roll.

  • You gain a flying speed of 6 0 feet. If you a re still flying
    whe n the spell ends, you fall, unless you can somehow
    prevent it.

  • You can use you r action to create a^15 -foot c ube of
    swirl ing wind centered on a point you can see withi n
    60 feet of you. Each c reature in that area mus t ma ke
    a Constitution savin g throw. A c reature takes 2d10
    bludgeon ing damage o n a failed save, or half as m uc h

    creature fails the save, that creature is a lso pushed up

s pell s lot of 4th level or h ig he r, the damage increases by
ld8 for each s lot level above 3 rd.

MADDENING DARKNESS
8th -level evocation

Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes
Magical da rkness spreads from a point you choose
within range to fill a 6 0 -foot-radius sphe re until the spell
ends. The darkness spreads around corne rs. A c reature
w ith darkvis ion can't see through this darkness. Non-
magical light, as well as light c reated by spells of 8th
level or lower, can't ill uminate the area.
Shrieks, gibbering, a nd mad laughter can be heard
with in the sphere. Whenever a c reature starts its turn in
the sphere, it must make a Wisdom saving t hrow, taking
8 d8 psych ic damage on a failed save, or half as much
damage on a successful one.

MAELSTROM
5th-level evocation

Range: 12 0 feet

Duration: Concentration, up to^1 minute
A sw irling mass o f 5-foot-deep water appears in a 30-
foot r adius centered on a point you can see within range.
T he point must be o n the ground or in a body of water.
Until t he spell ends, that a rea is difficult terrain, a nd
a ny creature that starts its turn there must succeed on a
Stre ngth saving th row or take 6d6 blu dgeoning damage
and be pulled^10 feet toward the center.

MAGIC STONE
Transmutation cantrip
Casting Time: 1 bonus action

Duration: 1 minute
You touch one to three pebbles and imbue them with
magic. You or someone else can make a ra nged spell
a ttack w ith one of the pebbles by t hrowing it or hu rling

it w ith a sling. lf thrown, a pebble has a range o f^60 feet.


If someone else attacks with a pebble, that attacker adds
your spellcasting ability modifier, not the attacker 's, to
th e attack roll. O n a h it, the ta rget takes bludgeon ing
da mage equal to ld6 +you r spellcasting ability modifier.
Whethe r the attack h its or misses, the spell then ends
on the stone.
If you cast th is spell again, the spell ends o n any peb-
bles still affected by your previous casting.
