GABY’S PICKS
From a Southern biscuit haven to a bakery specializing in
supersized cookies, these are the places Gaby never misses
when she shops at Pike Place.
Macrina Bakery
2408 1st Ave.

Located just around the corner from Pike Place Market,
Macrina is a Seattle staple that Gaby visits on her way into
the market. With fi ve locations across the Emerald City,
Macrina has been known for its rustic European bread
since 1993. Each loaf is baked using only the highest-quality
ingredients from Northwestern farmers, producers, and
millers.
GABY’S GO-TO:
“Though Macrina is known for their bread, their pastries
are consistently amazing. I can’t get enough of the Granny
Smith monkey bread and the stone fruit sweet rolls.”
Cinnamon Works
1536 Pike Pl.

Don’t be fooled by the name. Though this Seattle
institution makes delicious cinnamon rolls, they’re most
famous for their Monster Cookies. Coming in any fl avor
and packed with every mix-in imaginable, these giant
cookies have become Instagram-famous as visitors strike a
pose with them in front of the neon Public Market sign at
Pike Place.
GABY’S GO-TO:
“The chocolate chip monster cookie at Cinnamon Works is
the best I’ve ever had. It’s chewy in the center and crisp on
the edges, the way every cookie should be.”
