ith rumours
swirling
that Kim
Kardashian
has filed for divorce from
Kanye West, it was
reported she’s hired
celebrity divorce lawyer
Laura Wasser. Kim is
believed to be pushing for
full custody of their four
children – with friends fearing
the split could turn nasty.
Laura – who has
represented Angelina Jolie
and Kelly Clarkson – was
hired by Kim to handle her
divorce from her second
husband Kris Humphries in- The basketball player is
believed to have been hit with a
gagging order which prevented
him from spilling any of the
family’s juicy secrets.
And it is thought that Kim, 40,
will want something similar with
husband of six years Kanye, as he
is famed for his shock outbursts.
Kim and Kanye’s marriage
appeared to be on shaky ground
throughout 2020 when the rapper,
43, made a series of damning
statements during his failed
presidential campaign bid. In July,

Kanye – who has bipolar disorder- sobbed on stage as he claimed
he had stopped Kim from aborting
their first child North, seven.
He also claimed he had been
trying to divorce Kim for two
years, called her a white
supremacist and referred to
her mother Kris Jenner as “Kris
Jong-Un”, a reference to the
leader of North Korea. Sources
close to the rapper claimed he
had threatened to reveal all of
the family’s secrets if Kim tried
to force him into treatment.
Days later, Kim flew out to
Kanye’s ranch in Wyoming and
was pictured crying in a car
after insiders claimed she had
pleaded for him to get help with
his mental health.
Sources close to the pair –
who are also parents to Saint,
five, Chicago, who turns three
this week, and Psalm, 20 months - claim relations had grown tense
during the start of lockdown last
year, with the couple living at
separate ends of their Calabasas
mansion to keep the peace.
It has also been reported
that Kris was the one to persuade
Kim to file for divorce from
Kanye, who she began dating
in 2012 after being friends for
many years. The momager
is notoriously involved in her
children’s lives and has been
known to slap friends and
relatives with gagging orders
in a bid to stop them blabbing
about the famous family.
We have a feeling the Kimye
divorce drama is going to be
difficult to keep up with!
