THE TRUTH ABOUT...
GETTING FIT AT HOME
FINDING ALICE
During months of having to
stay at home, millions of us
have swapped the gym for
working out in our living
room. Journalist and blogger
Mehreen Baig uses the latest
science to make sure she’s
getting maximum return for
her effort. And she finds out
whether doing one minute
of strength training per week
on each main muscle group
might reduce your risk of
diabetes and heart disease.
You might start watching ITV’s
brand new series Finding Alice
because of its stellar line-up of
some of Britain’s biggest talent,
from leading lady Keeley Hawes
to ensemble cast Joanna Lumley,
Nigel Havers and Gemma Jones.
However, you’ll end up staying
for the addictive plot, which has
everything needed to keep
audiences hooked.
The six-parter opens as a
darkly comic look at raw grief
as viewers see Alice (Hawes)
attempting to come to terms with
the sudden death of her partner
Harry (Jason Merrells).

PICKS
Retired Royal Marine
Commando Ant Middleton has
famously pushed stars to the
brink on Celebrity SAS: Who
Dares Wins. But that didn’t
stop actress Rebel Wilson
joining him on a drive across
Mexico, carrying all their
belongings in a rucksack.
“Rebel was a lot more
hardcore than she gives
herself credit for,” Ant says.
For Rebel, it was a great way
to top off her “year of health”,
which has reportedly seen her
shed more than 3st.
As they travel together, she
opens up about her weight
loss and life in the public eye,
and tackles challenges like
horse riding and driving 4x4
dune buggies.
