Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art

in St. Petersburg, Russia. They were

displayed there for six months and

David thought that was that for the

lifetime of that body of work.

A new lease of life

But earlier in 2020, David shared

images from the UV Collection on a

Facebook photography group and

they went viral. His post quickly

became one of the most liked photo

sets on the group’s page.

Overwhelmed by the positive

response, David believes that the

images went down so well because

they were now being seen by

photographers as opposed to hair
