i

t’s a Monday morning in
Food Network’s New York City
test kitchen, and Anne Burrell is

amped up and ready to cook. She’s

surrounded by cameras, but this is

no ordinary shoot: She’s about to

host an interactive cooking class that

will be streamed live to thousands of

home cooks. She and everyone else

in the room know that anything can
happen. The live class is part of a
massive effort to bring Food Network
stars right into your kitchen—so you
can slice and sauté alongside the
pros. Multiple times a day, chefs like
Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis and
Rachael Ray hold live cooking demos
while viewers across the country

chime in with questions. “I never
know what someone is going to ask,”
Anne says. “It makes me think on my
feet, and I love that!”
Along with the live streams, the
Food Network Kitchen app includes
more than 1,000 on-demand cooking
classes, 80,000 recipes and full episodes
of Food Network shows. Check it out!

It’s Live!

Your favorite stars are cooking in real time on the new Food Network Kitchen
app—and it’s the most incredible thing that’s ever happened to food TV.

“You get to experience
all the tips, tricks and
mistakes without the
edited fluff. But the
viewer questions
can be surprising!”
—Michael Symon

“I’ve done thousands
of hours of TV, so
I was surprised I felt
a little nervous for
my first live class.”
—Buddy Valastro

“It’s made me take a
really good look at
all the steps of my
recipes so that I can
explain them to people
following along.”
—Katie Lee

“We can talk to the
viewers in real time
and answer all of their
kitchen questions.
Now the world is
our classroom.”
—Geoffrey Zakarian
