Hashing It Out
That’s lingo for hash browns covered with sautéed
onions and grilled ham at Waffle House—and this
month, four chefs will have to decode orders just like it
in a heated Waffle House smackdown at the Charleston
Wine + Food Festival. The diner chain is famous for
its fast-moving kitchen, so the chefs will train for
a day under real Waffle House cooks before they
face off in front of spectators at the festival. For tickets
