The next big thing in grocery stores:

MINIATURE FARMS!
Soon you’ll be able to harvest fresh veggies—roots and
all—at the supermarket. A German startup, Infarm,
creates vertical farms that grow lettuce, kale and herbs
hydroponically in the produce aisle. Kroger is installing
them in 15 Seattle-area stores and has tentative plans
to expand the program nationwide.

OAT MILK IS

JOINING THE

BIG LEAGUES.

Oat milk was relatively
unknown just a few years
ago, but these days stores
carry about a dozen brands,
plus oat-based ice cream,
yogurt and creamers. Now
the dairy alternative is
having its biggest moment
yet: Starbucks is testing
its first oat milk drink, a
honey latte, in the Midwest,
and Dunkin’ is serving hot
and iced oat milk lattes
nationwide this spring.
