Former cafe owners Michelle and
Michael Loyd noticed that Black
people were often excluded from
the coffee world, so last year they
launched Dope Coffee, an online
shop selling products inspired
by Black culture. They started
with three kinds of beans and
have recently introduced beauty
products made with recycled
grounds. Their newest addition:
an exfoliating soap ca lled Original
Man, named after the idea that
al l humans come from the same
