Thanksgiving is all about pie, but what if you’re on
team cake? Three Brothers Bakery in Houston has created the
Pumpecapple Piecake. Inspired by the turducken, it’s a towering
stack of three cakes with pies baked right into them: pumpkin
spice cake with pumpkin pie, chocolate cake with pecan pie and
spice cake with apple pie. Co-owner Janice Jucker says online
orders have kept her in business during the coronavirus crisis.
“These purchases help the bakery, the pecan grower, the box
makers and our other suppliers,” she says. “It’s the gift that
