GRUYÈRE-ONION FLATBREAD ACTIVE: 15 min l TOTAL: 25 min l SERVES: 4
1 cup grated gruyère cheese
3 tablespoons unsalted butter,
at room temperature
2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
or thyme
Pinch of red pepper flakes
2 pieces lavash (or other flatbread)
½ cup thinly sliced red onion
Kosher salt
- Preheat the oven 425 ̊. Line a baking
sheet with parchment paper. Mix
the gruyère, butter, rosemary and
red pepper flakes in a small bowl until
well combined.
2. Spread the cheese mixture on the lavash;
top with the red onion. Place the lavash on
the baking sheet and bake until golden and
crisp, about 10 minutes. Season with salt;
cut into pieces.
