orders spiked 168 percent in
the first half of the year. And big
brands are joining the craze, too.

Del Taco added them to soda.

is getting cereal-ized.
Son of a nutcracker—Buddy the Elf has his own
cereal! Fans of the 2003 holiday movie know
that syrup is one of Buddy’s four main food
groups, so General Mills made sure to add plenty
of syrup flavor to the limited-edition puffs.
