by California-based custom
cake maker Jose Barajas is

a Dremel tool. “The secret to not

Unlike her typical

Meghan Morris opted for a simpler look
with this sweater-inspired house. “I’m
into crocheting and embroidery, so my
idea was to make the house look like
it was embroidered,” she says. She
enlarged images of needlepoint as a
guide, then cut a tiny hole in the kit’s
icing bag to pipe the icing.
