On their annual trips to the Portland, Oregon swap meets, Bob and his wife often stayed
in Grants Pass a convenient stop over along the way. Well, it wasn’t long before they fell
in love with the beautiful Rogue River valley and discovered it was an affordable place
to live and do business. They bought a piece of property to build a home and were soon
constructing their first Bob Drake Reproductions facility in Southern Oregon. The business
moved to its new Grants Pass location in 1982.
