1935-40

FRONT CROSS-MEMBER

Weld-in replacement for the 1935-40 Fords, stock or

repro frames. Clears fuel pump on the Chevrolet V8.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Ford engines require more fitting than other types. The firewall must be cut for clearance. A steering adaptor must be used

on solid axle cars as original will not clear. Power steering requires extra work fitting; manual steering is recommended. Stock

steering will not work. Requires Bronco type oil pan, or the pan can be cut and modified for clearance. Oil filter clears. Does

not sit engine high. Good fan clearance. Stock exhaust manifolds clear. Wishbone must be split or 4-bar used. C-4 is highly

recommended.

FORD AUTO TRANSMISSION MOUNTING KITS

Wishbone splitting kits are not required on cars using

independent front suspension.
