THE PAINT
Painting hubcaps can be very tricky business. Hubcaps can be hand painted which is both time
consuming and messy. Another method is the spray and wipe technique, also messy, and the resulting
detail is not very precise. It's also difficult to get paint to adhere properly to such a hard, non-porous
material as stainless steel.OURS...
Our hubcaps are now painted and match the original blue and red factory colors. We've developed a
masking process that allows us to spray an epoxy finish into the die-stamped lettering and achieve solid,
even painting with clean, sharp edges for superior detail. Then the caps are baked to cure the paint finishand ensure proper bonding to the metal for a long lasting, scratch resistant finish. Our 1949-50 hub caps
are not painted.

For the reasons listed above our competitors do not even attempt to paint their hubcaps.
THE FIT
It is important that hubcaps fit properly. Too loose and they may come off during ordinary driving conditions.
Too tight and the force necessary to install and remove them may cause damage to the hubcap or wheel.
OURS...
All our hubcaps are designed to fit like Ford factory originals: easy to remove and install, yet snug enough to
stay put under most driving conditions.
THEIRS...
Not made to original factory specs. Hubcaps are either a loose, sloppy fit, or so tight it's a struggle to remove or
