so you bought a 1942-1947 big
truck cab to turn into a more
popular 1940-1941 pickup.
Problem is, this big truck has a gas tank under
the seat and it’s going to take a lot more work
than you thought. The Drake team to the
rescue. Get our new seat riser to replace the
tank and now the job’s a breeze. While you’re
at it, you might want to put a new Drake gas
tank in the back because 1940-41 pickups have
the gas tank at the rear frame, the same as
1940 passenger cars. Ask for 81A-9002.

Fits 1940-1941 pickups – also fits up to 1947 pickup/commercial. These floors are prone to getting rotted out by

weather or the transmission area gets torched out or just damaged. A long time coming; now so many pickups and

big trucks can be saved and put back on the road. A perfect match for 1940-41 owners and a superb replacement

for 1942-47 (these trucks have a little different pattern under the seat). Excellent copy with all the braces spot

welded in exact locations. Also includes the lower door-seal metal channel spot welded to the rocker (order part

number 81C-812230-K for these rubber door seals).
