first in January/February
2002, and the chef’s
treacle tart has been a
favourite for readers over
the years.
His original recipe used
a classic lard pastry and
stale breadcrumbs. In
2019, a puff pastry crust,
maple syrup, and brioche
crumbs give this treacle
tart a makeover.
