APRICOT BOURBON SOUR
ACTIVE: 10 min l TOTAL: 20 min l MAKES: 1 (plus extra simple syrup)
½ cup sugar
1 large pasteurized egg white
1 ounce bourbon
1 ounce apricot brandy
¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
Cocktail cherries, for garnish
1.Make the simple syrup: Combine the
sugar and ½ cup water in a saucepan
over medium heat and cook, stirring,
until the sugar dissolves; let cool.
- Combine the egg white, bourbon,
apricot brandy, lemon juice and
¾ ounce simple syrup in a cocktail
shaker; shake 30 seconds. Add ice and
shake 30 more seconds. Strain into a
glass. Garnish with cocktail cherries.
