“TheconveniencestoresinJapanareamazinginthesamewaythevending
machinesareamazing,”saysKoludrovic.“Wehaveconveniencestores,wehave
vendingmachines– butnotlikethis.”Konbinisandwichesareperfect-looking
andfluffy,thestoreshavemachinesthatmakepotnoodles,andthere’s“agreat
arrayofpacketsnacks,enoughtomakeWonkawonder”.TheKitKatflavours
alone(yuzu,matcha,cherry-blossomsake)areproofofthis.It’sa sensibility
thatAdelaide’sMorningsKonbinitapsinto.Itsstorefrontlookslikea Tokyo
kioskanditsmenuincludesJapanese-stylesandwichesandversionsofonigiri
