AndearlierthisyeartheAdelaideHillsDistillery
tookAustralianspiritsina newdirectionwiththeir
extraordinaryNativeGrainWhiskey.Madefroma
blendofmaltedbarleyandwattleseedandmatured
inanAmericanoakbarrelthatonceheld“port”and
a Frenchoakbarrelthatonceheldcabernetfranc,
thisdark,rich,boldspirittasteslikenootherwhiskey

Australianwhiskeygets:just 141 bottleswerereleased,
withanequallyboldpricetagofaround$450.
Evenat thatprice,though,bythetimeyouread
