Sparkling wines add a joyful element
to the festive season. Produced and
estate-bottled in Gambellara, a pretty
winemaking region tucked between
Vicenza and Verona in northern Italy,
Zonin Prosecco DOC has a refi ned
bouquet with dry, fruity notes. Made from
gently pressed grapes adhering to the
traditional Charmat method, this elegant
sparkling wine glows with a pale-yellow
color and just the right amount of bubbles
for celebrating in style.
The palate-pleasing almond and citrus
fl avors pair nicely with passed hors d’oeuvres
such as mini crab or shrimp cakes, or crackers
topped with small slices of mozzarella and
cherry tomatoes. Or, to end a meal, serve it
in tulip-shaped glasses with fi ne desserts.
