angelwingonarawwood,old-schoolstyleskateboard
deck. The grain of the wood showing through the
transparentliquidacrylicsaddsatextureofitsown.The
factthatthepigmentwillbleedabitintothewoodand
keepthedesignlooseisalsoappealing.Ofcoursethisis
justonewaytodoit.Youcouldalsopreparethewood
withcleargessoifyoupreferanonabsorbentsurfaceto
painton.Or,youcouldusewhitegessoifyou’drather
not see the grain of the wood showing through at all.

colors - amber shellac
- black ink
- Faber Castell “B” Pitt Artist Pen
- no. 2 pencil
