be,ifit’sboringnobodywillbeinterestedinlookingat
it.Keepthefollowingthingsinmindasyou’recreating
yourartworkandyou’reboundtocomeupwithsome
great work that’s very interesting to look at.


CONTRAST


Contrast is very important with artwork. If you’re
workinginshadesofblackandgray,makesuretohave
tonesfromadeepblacktoapalegray,andevenlighter.
Whentattooing,youcanusetheskinitselfashighlight
areas.Whenusingcolors,youhavetothinkofhowthey
work together to create contrast. For instance, you
wouldn’tuseonlyblues,greensandpurplesinatattoo
becausethat wouldlook very flat.You’d needto use
some warm colors such as red, orange or yellow to
provideenoughcontrastandseparatethedifferentparts
of the tattoo.
