hile the resolution of the SL2-S’s 24MP
sensor is a reduction on that in the SL2
(47MP), there are performance bumps
in other areas: sensitivity has been increased to
ISO 100-100,000 (from ISO 100-50,000), and the
continuous burst with the electronic shutter has been
bumped up to a blistering 25fps (from 20fps). The
five-axis IBIS of the SL2 has been carried over, rated
to the same 5.5 stops of shake compensation, as
has the 225-point contrast-detect AF system.
