WE LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU – CHECK OUT YOUR
AMAZING PROJECTS IN THIS MONTH’S READER GALLERY!

“Dear Let’s Knit,
My fiancé, Sam, kindly
bought me a Let’s Knit
subscription when he
knew I’d be working
from home and had
seen how much I had
enjoyed reading your
mag once I’d started
to learn to knit. My
mum taught me in early 2019,
and both of us are hooked
(well, maybe ‘needled’ is
more appropriate!).
My mum’s creations, Let’s Knit,
and the readers sending in photos
of their lovely makes, have inspired
me to be a bit braver. I’ve attached a
couple of photos of the things I’ve tried
recently – the snowman encouraged me
to try my first colourwork from a chart
too! I feel so lucky to have been
introduced to knitting by my Mum – it’s
my go-to for a sense of calm, as well as
pride, when I see what I’ve created with
a small amount of colourful yarn.”

Thank you, Abbie, it’s great to hear
that the kits encourage you to try
new things!

“During lockdown I have knitted all my kits
and numerous patterns from my monthly
Let’s Knit magazine. I loved the Let’s
Knit Cuddle & Love Baby Knits
bookazine that came with issue 166
in January, and I especially loved
the patchwork teddy pattern by
Sachiyo Ishii, so much so that I have
now completed four of them. Keep up the good work, looking
forward to my next project.” Cathy Gibson
Fab colour combos, Cathy!

Introducing...
Marion Marsh
How long have you been
knitting? 38 years.
What’s your worst disaster?
Trying to teach myself lace
knitting on a cardigan
when I was expecting; I
could not seem to get the
pattern right and ended up
asking my mum to finish it!
Why knit? I just love knitting,
but it’s great seeing my grandchildren
in the things I have created for them.
There is love in every stitch.
Your best knitting tip is... always keep
some easy knitting with you so if you get
delayed anywhere you’ll have something
to occupy yourself with.
