REMOVING TOURISTS FROM A SCENE

The Smart Object Stack Mode processing feature uses

special formulae to determine how layered images are

blended together. This feature was really designed as

a tool for analytical work in areas such as forensics,

medical imaging, and astronomy, but it also happens to

have creative uses as well.

When it comes to removing tourists from a scene, the

Median rendering is usually the most effective one to use.

This is because it works by analyzing each and every

pixel location in a stack of images and selects whatever

is the most common pixel value to all the layers at a

given point. A Median rendering can therefore be used

to smooth out the differences found between individual
