MANAGE PLUGINS

By default, Manage Plugins

will show all your currently

installed plugins. You can

use the filters on the left to

narrow down to specific apps.

By clicking into any plugin,

you can access its informa-

tion, but also by clicking the

three-dot icon to the left of

“Installed,” you can choose

to either Disable or Uninstall

the plugin.

OTHER PLUGINS

Not all plugins are avail-

able through the Creative

Cloud app. Some third-party

developers sell directly,

rather than through Adobe.

With these, you receive

an installable file with the

CCX extension. I found this

particular plugin (Output

Sharpen) from Ian Barber

while researching this article.

At £2, it seemed a reasonable

expense to show you how to install third-party apps.

He has a few more, all at reasonable prices.

STEP ONE: Double-click the app’s icon to start the

installation process, which will open the Creative Cloud

app. (If it doesn’t, try closing the Creative Cloud app

and trying again.)
