The Week Contest
This week’s question: A ragtag band of investors tempo-
rar ily caused the stock price of struggling video-game
retailer GameStop to skyrocket— netting a few lucky indi-
viduals millions of dollars and costing some hedge funds
billions in losses. If Hollywood were to make a movie
about this short-lived stock-market rebellion, what should
it be titled?
Last week’s contest: Oklahoma lawmaker Justin Hum phrey
has proposed creating a Bigfoot hunting season as “a rev-
enue creator,” complete with permits, fees, and a $25,000
reward for anyone who manages to “trap a live Bigfoot.”
Please come up with a snappy tourism slogan that Okla-
homa could use to attract gullible Bigfoot hunters.
THE WINNER: “Yeti or not, come take your shot”
Peter Simis, Fresno, Calif.
SECOND PLACE: “Where Bigfoot hunting is more than just OK”
Michael Rouse, Troy, Mich.
THIRD PLACE: “Trap a Bigfoot sooner in Oklahoma”
Rex Morgan, Santa Rosa, Calif.
