Each spring
cardinals and house
finches pull the blossoms
off my purple leaf plum
tree. It’s a sight to see.
They don’t really eat the
flowers—they just pull
the blooms and let them
fall to the ground. The
tree is right outside my
breakfast nook, so this
gives me a chance to get
some delightful photos.
